The key isn’t filling your suitcase with every travel gadget you see online. It’s choosing practical items you’ll genuinely use — things that help you stay organised, comfortable and prepared without taking up unnecessary space.

A selection of travel-sized toiletries can save space and help keep everything organised.

Vacuum Compression Packing Bags

Useful when suitcase space is limited or you’re packing bulkier clothing. Just remember that creating more space doesn’t increase your airline’s weight allowance.

Microfibre Towel

Lightweight, quick-drying and useful for beaches, boat trips and activities without taking up the same amount of suitcase space as a traditional towel.

Other simple additions such as sunglasses, a hat or cap and lightweight rainwear can also be worth packing depending on the destination.
